Privacy Policy

Introduction

This privacy policy describes how Viberankly collects, uses, and protects your personal data.

Data Collected

You play quizzes without signing up: on your first game, an anonymous account is created, with no name or email. We store your games (quiz played, answers, answer times, result) to compute your result, enable challenges between friends and measure quiz audience. If you choose “Keep your results”, your email address is stored to send you a sign-in link and link your games to it. If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to us by email. To serve ads, Google AdSense processes technical data (IP address, cookie identifiers, pages viewed) as an independent controller: see policies.google.com/privacy. Only with your consent, we measure site audience with Google Analytics 4 (pages viewed, traffic source, device, and events such as starting a quiz or sharing, without your email or your answers); IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics. Each site in the network has its own privacy policy.

Purpose of Processing

Your language and theme preferences are stored in your browser. Your games are used to show your results, comparisons with your friends and anonymous quiz statistics. Your email address is only used to sign you in: no newsletter, never sold or used for marketing. Contact form messages are only used to reply to you. Advertising data is used to fund the site by showing ads, personalised only if you consent.

Data Retention

The account cookie and preference cookies expire after one year, extended on each visit. Your games and account are kept as long as you use them; you can ask for their deletion at any time. A sign-in link expires after 7 days and works only once. Google advertising cookies last at most 13 months, and your consent choice is asked again at least every 13 months. Contact messages are kept while we handle your request, then for at most three years.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights: right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to data portability. To exercise your rights, contact us using the methods below.
