Some people leap out of bed before the alarm, others need an hour and two coffees to feel human. Researchers call it your chronotype: our internal clock makes us more of a “morning person” or an “evening person”, and it's not just a matter of willpower.

Answer 6 questions about how you wake up, your rituals and your energy. You'll discover your morning profile and how much of the other three you have.

The 4 possible results

  • Early bird

Up in three seconds and productive before anyone else: your morning energy is the early bird's.

Mornings are your superpower. You make the most of the quiet before the world wakes up, and you've often wrapped up the essentials before others have even arrived.

Your strength is your natural discipline. Your days are long and full, and your energy carries others along.

The trap: forgetting that not everyone runs on your clock. Don't judge late risers, and respect your own bedtime too: an early bird who sleeps too little eventually burns out.

  • Slow riser

Coffee, light, slowness: to you, mornings are a ritual. Your energy is the slow riser's.

You don't rush, you ease into the day. A hot drink, some light, a few pages or a few stretches: you look after yourself before looking after the world.

Your strength is your balance. By starting the day without stress, you stay calm much longer than others.

The trap: sacrificing this moment as soon as life speeds up. Protect your ritual, even a short version of it: it's your anchor.

  • Morning chameleon

Exercise one day, a lie-in the next: you adapt. Your energy is the chameleon's.

You don't have a fixed routine, and that suits you fine. How you wake up depends on the night before, your mood and what's ahead: you follow your instincts rather than an alarm clock.

Your strength is your flexibility. The unexpected doesn't throw you, and you know how to make the most of every day, whatever it brings.

The trap: drifting. With no anchors at all, your mornings end up running you. Try one or two fixed rituals for a month, and keep what works.

  • Night owl

Mornings aren't your friend, and that's OK: your energy is the night owl's.

Your brain switches on when everyone else switches off. In the morning you run on minimum power; in the evening you're creative, focused and full of ideas. It isn't laziness: your internal clock is simply set later.

Your strength is your evening energy. You use the quiet hours to work on what really matters to you.

The trap: missing out on sleep when the world wakes you early. Protect your sleep hours and soften your mornings (light, no screens in bed): your rhythm deserves respect, not sacrifice.

How it works

  1. Answer the questions

One question per screen, no right or wrong answers: pick what sounds most like you.

  2. Discover your profile

Each answer gives points to one or more profiles. You get your dominant profile and your percentage breakdown.

  3. Compare with your friends

Share your result: your friends take the quiz and see both profiles side by side, with how many answers you have in common.

Frequently asked questions

What is a chronotype?

It's your body clock's natural preference for mornings or evenings. It's partly genetic and changes with age: teenagers often lean towards evenings.

Can you become a morning person?

A little. Regular hours and daylight in the morning can shift your clock earlier, but you won't completely change profile. It's better to plan your days around your rhythm than against it.

Is this quiz scientific?

No, it's an entertainment quiz inspired by the idea of chronotypes. It doesn't replace a real sleep questionnaire.
